Protecting privacy

If someone has posted your personal information or uploaded a 3Dmodel of you without your consent, start by contacting the uploader and asking them to remove the content.

If you can’t reach an agreement with the uploader, or if it is not possible to contact them, you can request removal of content based on our Policy & Protecting Privacy.

When you report a privacy complaint, we consider public interest, newsworthiness, and consent as factors in our final decision. Check out our Privacy Guidelines for a more detailed explanation of our privacy complaint process and the factors we take into account when evaluating privacy claims.

Posting malicious comments

We encourage free speech but we don't permit hate speech.

When content violates our policy, the person who posted that content will receive a strike against their account. Accounts that are dedicated to harassing a particular user or the community at large will be terminated.

Sometimes criticism and insults can escalate into more serious forms of harassment and cyberbullying. If specific threats are made against you and you feel unsafe, tell a trusted adult and report it to your local law enforcement agency.


Activities such as copying a user's contents, using a similar username, or posing as another person in comments, emails, or uploading a 3Dmodel may be considered harassment. In cases where our team determines that an account was established to impersonate another channel or individual, the account will be removed.


3Dupndown has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual content involving minors.

Uploading, commenting, or engaging in any type of activity that sexualizes minors will immediately result in an account suspension.

Sexual content

If your 3D model is intended to be sexually provocative, it is less likely to be acceptable for 3Dupndown.

3D models containing sexual content will be removed or age-restricted depending on the severity of description in question.

Dangerous content draws the line at models that represent illegal, violent, or dangerous things.

3Dmodels that we consider to show dangerous or illegal 3Dmodels that include instructional weapon making or other models that may result in serious injury. is very sensitive to any harmful or dangerous content that involves minors.

Comment spam

It's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted, or repetitive content in comments, private messages, or other places on the site. If the main purpose of your content is to drive people off of and onto another site, it will likely violate our spam policies.

Artificial spam

Anything that artificially increases the number of views, likes, comments, or other metric is against our terms.

3Dmodels and accounts that are found to be in violation of our terms may be closed down and removed from

For instance, selecting a sexually provocative thumbnail image may result in the removal of your thumbnail image.

The thumbnail image is the title card that will be shown next to your 3Dmodel across the site and should be appropriate for all ages.

Legal policies


Using someone else's trademark in a username, tags, or the title of your 3Dmodel does not necessarily constitute infringement. However, if there is content on your profile or 3Dmodel that would confuse viewers into believing that the trademark owner created or sponsors your page or content, then the trademark owner's rights may be infringed. In these cases, we may remove the content in question.

If you are a trademark owner and you believe your trademark is being infringed, please note that is not in a position to mediate trademark disputes between users and trademark owners. As a result, we strongly encourage trademark owners to resolve their disputes directly with the user who posted the content in question. Contacting the uploader may allow for a quicker resolution to your claim in a way that is beneficial to you, the uploader, and community.

Inactive accounts policy

In general, users are expected to be active members within the website. If an account is found to be overly inactive, the account may be reclaimed by without notice. Inactivity may be considered as :

If you or someone else is being harassed please report the abusive content or contact local authorities and seek guidance from a trusted adult, friend or relevant organization. If you believe that someone is in imminent danger, please call the police.

The Age limit

1) The minimum age requirements to own a 3Dupndown Account:

• United States: 13+

• Spain: 14+

• South Korea: 14+

• Netherlands: 16+

• All other countries: 13+

2) has restrictions with regards to the minimum age to become a Seller.

: If you are a seller, only users of 18 and above can register and sell 3Dmodel files. Some special category can only be accessed by adults. So if a 3Dmodel gets flagged and we find that the uploader inaccurately stated their age during the account creation process, we will terminate their account.
